Most of your customers pay cash on delivery, and that is exactly why fake orders hurt so much. Anyone can order with a made-up name, a prank, or someone else's phone number, and nothing stops them until the rider is at the door.
By then the money is already spent. You packed the parcel, paid the courier to carry it, and the product spent days in transit instead of on your shelf, where a real customer could have bought it. Some couriers charge again to bring it back.
