About

The team behind eCommFly

We're a team of 5+ people building one platform for online stores in Bangladesh: the storefront, payments, couriers and marketing, so merchants can spend their day selling instead of switching between tools.

Why we build eCommFly

Running an online store in Bangladesh usually means a website from one company, a payment gateway from another, a courier portal for each courier, and a spreadsheet to hold it all together. Every order passes through four tools and a phone call.

We think a merchant should be able to do all of it from one dashboard, built around how people here actually buy: bKash and Nagad, cash on delivery, the couriers they already use, and customers who order from a Facebook ad.

What we've built so far

5+ people, one product

We're a small team, so the people who build eCommFly are the same people merchants talk to. Customer satisfaction is our first priority, and a rested team with a life outside work is how we keep it that way.

  • Build

The storefront, the dashboard, and the payment and courier integrations behind them.

  • Support

Help merchants set up, answer questions on Telegram, live chat, email and phone, and fix what gets in their way.

  • Listen

Turn what merchants tell us into the next things we build.

What we care about

These are the ideas behind the decisions we make, from what goes on the roadmap to how we answer a merchant's message.

  • Customers come first

Customer satisfaction is our first priority. Every feature starts with a seller's real day, and whoever builds it follows it to the merchants using it, fixing what is rough until it works for them.

  • Built for Bangladesh

bKash and Nagad, local couriers, Bengali SMS and prices in taka. We build for how people here shop, not a copy of a platform made for somewhere else.

  • Say what is true

Prices are on the page, and a feature that isn't ready says "Coming soon". Merchants trust us with their business, so we don't oversell.

  • Their money is theirs

Payments go straight into a merchant's own bKash, Nagad and bank accounts. We charge a clear fee for what we provide and never sit on their sales.

  • Simple beats clever

A shop owner should be able to set up a store between customers. We'd rather remove a setting than write a page explaining it.

  • A life outside work

Rested people do better work. We respect each other's evenings, weekends and time off, and we don't treat late nights as a badge of honour.

What we build with

The merchant dashboard runs on Laravel and Vue, and every storefront is a Nuxt app. We pick each tool for the job it does best, from TypeScript on the front end to Rust and Go.

  • RustLanguage
  • GoLanguage
  • TypeScriptLanguage
  • PHPLanguage
  • LaravelPHP framework
  • Vue.jsUI framework
  • NuxtVue framework
  • BunJavaScript runtime
