Running your store
Payments
Take cash on delivery, bKash, Nagad, cards and bank transfers, and keep each order's payment status right.
Customers choose how to pay at checkout, from the payment methods you turn on. Cash on delivery is on from the day you create your store. Online payments go straight to your own merchant account with the provider.
Payment methods
| Method | How customers pay |
|---|---|
| Cash on Delivery | In cash when the parcel arrives. You can add an extra fee and instructions for the customer. |
| bKash | With their bKash wallet, using your bKash merchant account. |
| Nagad | With their Nagad wallet, using your Nagad merchant account. |
| SSLCommerz | bKash, Nagad, Rocket, Upay, cards or net banking, on SSLCommerz’s payment page. |
| shurjoPay | bKash, Nagad, Rocket, Upay, cards or net banking, on shurjoPay’s payment page. |
| PayStation | bKash, Nagad, Rocket, Upay or cards, on PayStation’s payment page. You choose whether you or the customer pays PayStation’s fee. |
| Bank Transfer | By sending money to your bank account, using the details you add. |
| Manual Payment | Another way you take payment yourself, such as cash or a transfer you collect in person. |
To use bKash, Nagad, SSLCommerz, shurjoPay or PayStation, you need a merchant account with that provider first. They give you the credentials you enter in eCommFly.
Turn on a payment method
- Go to Integrations in the dashboard’s sidebar and open the payment method.
- Enter the credentials your provider gave you, such as the App Key and App Secret for bKash, or the SSLCommerz Store ID and SSLCommerz Store Password for SSLCommerz.
- Optionally, set a Checkout Title: the name customers see for this method at checkout.
- Choose the Mode. Sandbox uses the provider’s test servers and test credentials, so you can try a payment without real money. Switch to Live with your live credentials to take real payments.
- Turn on Enabled and select Save changes.
Saved passwords and keys are encrypted and never shown again. To change one, type the new value; leave it blank to keep the current one.
Settings → Payment lists every method you’ve set up. Turn each one on or off there. Only active methods are shown to customers.
Payment notifications
Some providers tell eCommFly when a payment goes through, even if the customer closes the page before coming back to your store. Their integration page has an IPN / Webhook box with a URL to copy:
- SSLCommerz, shurjoPay and PayStation: paste the URL into the IPN or notification URL setting in your merchant panel. If you can’t find it, send the URL to the provider’s support team.
- bKash: there’s no panel setting for this. Ask bKash’s team to subscribe the URL to your merchant wallet’s webhook.
Online payments at checkout
When a customer picks an online method, they’re sent to the provider to pay and then back to your store. Once the provider confirms the payment, the order’s payment status becomes Paid by itself, and the payment is listed under Transactions on the order.
Customers who leave without paying can come back and try again. To clear out orders that are never paid, go to Settings → Orders and turn on Cancel unpaid online orders automatically, then set the Time to pay (minutes). Before an order is cancelled, eCommFly checks with the provider in case the payment went through after all.
Cash on delivery and other offline payments
With cash on delivery, bank transfer and manual payment, money doesn’t pass through eCommFly, so you mark the order paid yourself once you have it:
- Open the order and find Transactions.
- Select Record payment.
- Enter the Amount, the Payment method and, if there is one, the Transaction ID, such as a bKash TrxID.
If the amount covers the order, its payment status becomes Paid. A smaller amount makes it Partially Paid, and you can record the rest later.
Payment statuses
| Status | Meaning |
|---|---|
| Unpaid | No payment yet. Every cash-on-delivery order starts here. |
| Paid | The order is fully paid. |
| Partially Paid | Part of the total has been paid. |
| Refunded | The payment was refunded. The order’s status becomes Refunded too. |
| Failed | The online payment failed. |
Filter your orders by payment status, such as Paid, Unpaid or Refunded, from the orders list.
