Set up your store

Create your store, add your brand and first products, pick a theme and connect your own domain.

This guide takes you from a new account to a store that’s ready for its first order. Each step is in the dashboard at app.ecommfly.com.

1. Create your store

  1. Create an account, or log in if you have one.
  2. Select Create Store and fill in:
    • Store Name: the name shoppers see, such as Deshi Bazar. You can change it later.
    • Subdomain: your store’s free address, such as deshibazar.ecommfly.shop. Use lowercase letters, numbers and dashes.
    • Country: only Bangladesh is supported for now.
  3. Select Create Store.

Your new store is ready to use straight away. It comes with:

  • a theme, already live on your subdomain, and a navigation menu
  • Cash on Delivery turned on as a payment method, and Manual Shipment for parcels you send yourself
  • a Standard shipping option that charges ৳70 inside Dhaka and ৳120 everywhere else
  • store alerts for new orders sent to your email

You can run more than one store from the same account. Each one has its own products, orders, settings and plan.

2. Add your store details

Open Settings in the dashboard’s sidebar.

  • General: your store’s name, country, language and currency, and how prices are shown (the currency symbol and whether it goes before or after the amount).
  • Brand: your Logo, shown in the storefront header, and your Icon, shown in the browser tab. Add your Business Address too: it’s printed on invoices and receipts.
  • Support: the ways customers can reach you, such as store chat, WhatsApp, Messenger, Telegram and email. Only the sections you turn on are shown on your storefront.

3. Add your products

  1. Go to Catalog → Products and select Add Product.
  2. Enter the Product Title.
  3. To have AI write the listing, turn on Generate using AI. Add Notes for AI such as the material, sizes and colours, and a Price if you know it. Select Generate using AI and eCommFly drafts the summary, description, category, tags, variations and shipping details for you.
  4. Review the product, add photos to the Gallery, check the Regular Price, and set the Status to Published.

New products start as drafts, so nothing appears on your storefront until you publish it. To track stock, turn on Manage Stock and enter the quantity for each variation.

Already have products in a spreadsheet? Use Import on the products page.

4. Choose your theme

Go to Online Store → Store Design → Themes to pick a theme. Then use Theme Settings for colours and fonts, Templates for your home page, and Menus for the links in your header and footer. See the themes for what each one looks like.

5. Set up payments and shipping

Cash on delivery works from day one. To take bKash, Nagad or card payments, see Payments.

Check your delivery charges in Settings → Shipping, and connect a courier to book parcels from the order page. See Shipping and couriers.

6. Connect your own domain

Your store always works on its .ecommfly.shop address. To use a domain you own, such as deshibazar.com, add it in Settings → Domain and point its DNS at eCommFly. See Connect your own domain.

7. Invite your team

Go to Settings → Team to invite the people who help you run the store, such as someone who confirms orders or packs parcels.

Before your first order

  • Place a test order on your storefront to see checkout as a customer does.
  • Look through Settings → Checkout to choose which details customers fill in, whether they can check out without an account, and your thank-you message.
  • Install the eCommFly app to get a notification on your phone for every new order.
